Abstract

The mounting press was designed, constructed and installed in the Faculty ofEngineering of the UAEM, to carry out tests of plastic materials.The mounting press consists of an hydraulic jack of five tons, with a manometer, and a cylindrical heater of 500 W with a thermoregulator. With this design the cost was reduced up lo 70% In comparison with a similar imported equipment.
