通识教育是建设世界一流大学的内在要求与重要支撑。2016年起,芝加哥大学在拓宽通识教育途径上进行了一系列有益尝试,如开展以海外学习计划、大学附属机构开设的实践课程为主的学生参与项目,调整核心课程设置,并以科学的管理组织与课程评价模式为保障,创建了具有芝加哥大学特色的通识教育课程。作为美国通识教育典范,芝加哥大学构建通识教育课程的实践逻辑可为我国\"双一流\"建设提供借鉴
