Molecular Mechanism of the Subcellular Localization and Activity of Arabidopsis UV-B Photoreceptor

Abstract

光是自然界中影响动植物生命活动最重要的环境因子之一。波长为280-315nm的ultraviolet-B(UV-B)光是太阳光中不可缺少的一部分。长波长、低能量的UV-B光能诱导植物光形态建成,抵御UV-B辐射,促进植物生长发育。拟南芥UV-B光受体为UVRESISTANCELOCUS8(UVR8)蛋白,接收UV-B光时,由二聚体变成单体,启动UV-B光信号转导。前期研究表明,UVR8既存在于细胞质也存在于细胞核。然而,UV-B光如何调节UVR8亚细胞定位与活性的分子机制还不清楚。因此,本论文从以下两个方面展开研究: 一、UV-B光调节UVR8的亚细胞定位。首先,我们使用yellowfluo...Light is the most important environmental cue for plant growth and development.
