Exploring the function of nucleoporin seh1 in mouse neural stem cells

Abstract

核孔复合体调控大分子物质在细胞质和细胞核之间的运输。核孔复合体由30余种核孔蛋白组成,核孔蛋白参与了细胞中多种生理过程并调控多种信号通路,Nup107-160亚复合体在核孔复合体中作为骨架则发挥着不可替代的作用。seh1是Nup107-160亚复合体的组成成分之一,而我们目前对seh1的功能知之甚少,虽然之前有研究表明seh1在果蝇中和卵细胞生成相关,但其在哺乳动物及人类中的研究进展有限。最近,Hassan等人在小头症患者中筛查了六个风险基因,这其中包括seh1,尽管没有检测到外显子序列突变,但这不能排除调控区域出现功能性改变。这一研究暗示着seh1可能在神经系统中发挥着重要的作用。 我们报...Nuclear pore complexs (NPCs) mediates macromolecules transportation between cytoplasm and nucleus, which is composed of about 30 different nucleoporins.
