The function of miR-411-5p in proliferation and metastasis of breast cancer cells

Abstract

MicroRNA(miRNA)是真核生物中一类小的内源性非编码单链RNA,通过靶向作用于信使RNA(mRNA),其在基因的转录和翻译过程中起到至关重要的作用。MiR-411-5p(之前又被称为miR-411)与人类许多疾病的发生发展相关。然而,miR-411-5p与乳腺癌的关系至今未被研究透彻。本研究中,我们发现,相对于正常乳腺组织,miR-411-5p在乳腺癌中是低表达的;同时,与正常乳腺细胞MCF-10A相比,miR-411-5p在乳腺癌细胞系中也是低表达的。本研究发现,在乳腺癌细胞中过表达miR-411-5p后,不论是在体外还是体内,miR-411-5p都可以抑制乳腺癌细胞的增殖与转移。...MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small noncoding RNAs that have a pivotal role in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression by sequence-specifically targeting multiple mRNAs.
