The mechanism of MMS-induced up-regulation of RhoE

Abstract

Rho家族GTPase做为细胞内许多信号通路中重要的分子开关,在调节细胞骨架、细胞极性、细胞周期等生物学过程中发挥着极其重要的作用。近年来发现的新成员Rnd亚家族是一类非典型的RhoGTPases。Rnd亚家族只存在与GTP结合活性形式而没有GDP结合的非活性形式。RhoE(Rnd3)可以与RhoA的GAP-p190结合而拮抗RhoA并且是这个亚家族中第一个被发现的蛋白。目前已有一些文献报道在DNA损伤过程中RhoE蛋白水平上调因此预示着RhoE在DNA损伤检测点扮演重要的角色。但对DNA损伤过程中RhoE蛋白的分子调控机制及参与的信号通路研究得并不清楚,关于RhoE蛋白稳定性的调控机制的报道...Rho small G protein family is classical molecular switch and plays a very important role in lots of signaling transduction pathways including cytoskeleton regulation, cell porlarty and cell cycle.
