Gold Nanoparticles catalyzed Hydrogen Dissociation: A Theoretical Study

Abstract

氢分子是很有前景的清洁能源,同时也是很好的储能物质。氢燃料电池也被广泛的应用。在很多化学反应中都有氢分子的参与。不论是在氢燃料电池中还是有氢分子参与的化学反应中,都会涉及到氢氢键的断裂。所以研究氢解离机理很重要,同时,它也是对复杂体系深入研究的基础。随着纳米材料的发展,之前被认为没有活性的金在纳米尺寸下表现出特殊的催化性能。氢分子与金的单晶表面作用很弱,然而可以在金纳米粒子表面发生解离。所以氢分子可以作为模型体系来研究金纳米粒子的特殊催化活性。本论文中采用密度泛函理论B3LYP方法,通过簇模型模拟,对氢分子在金纳米粒表面的解离机理进行了深入系统的研究。 (1)金纳米粒子催化氢解离。用金簇模拟...Hydrogen (H2) is a prospective clean energy and a good energy carrier.
