Research of Glycoprobe Based Cancer Immunotherapy

Abstract

随着癌症发病率和死亡率的不断升高,有效的治疗方法具有重要的临床价值。传统治疗方法如放疗和化疗,虽在治疗初期有一定效果,但治疗后期肿瘤容易复发。机体免疫系统本身具有抗肿瘤潜力,但肿瘤细胞会通过改变表面结构逃避免疫识别,为了使免疫系统识别、杀灭自身肿瘤,人们发展了肿瘤免疫疗法。常用策略是通过基因工程的方法改造免疫细胞,使其识别肿瘤。但该方法技术难度大,成本高周期长,限制了其广泛应用。在此我们拟发展一种改变肿瘤细胞结构,引发免疫识别的新型免疫疗法。由于肿瘤细胞表面唾液酸的结构与丰度直接影响了免疫识别过程,故我们通过唾液酸代谢途径将缀合抗原的非天然唾液酸衍生物特异性引入肿瘤表面,从而引发免疫系统识别并...With the increasing cancer mortality, effective therapies against cancers are of high clinical value.
