A Study on Multiple Evaluation System in Japanese Universities

Abstract

自20世纪90年代以来,日本的大学评价正朝着不断完善的制度化方向发展,即由以自我评价为主的单一评价体制向以自我评价为基础、以第三者评价为核心的多元化评价体制发展。本文在详细地考察了日本大学自我评价制度化形成的基础上,重点研究了以自我评价为基础的日本大学多元化评价体系的形成、构成及机能。这种多机构、多层次、多角度的多元评价体系对我国今后的高等教育评估有着重要的借鉴意义。Since 1990s,Japanese university evaluation has been carried out towards institutionalization,shifting from the sole evaluation system,specifically,self-evaluation to multiple evaluation system which consists of third party evaluation in addition to self-evaluation.The paper overviews the development of multiple evaluation system as well as its composition and function.It also points out that the multiple evaluation system with a characteristic of multi-organization,multi-level,multi-angle might be useful for Chinese universities.国家社会科学基金(教育学科)国家重点课题《高等教育大众化阶段质量保障与评价体系研究》的研究成果,项目编号AIA060009-2;; 教育部人文社会科学研究重大项目《高等教育质量保障体系研究》资助,项目编号05JJD88001
