Abstract

ESL adult learners have challenges when it comes to finding employment due to language and communication barriers. Navigating the system for acquiring employment, which primarily is in the English language, is particularly challenging for those who are not proficient in English. In addition, because of their relatively recent arrival in the US, they may not have those skills to know the job-seeking process to successfully apply for a job.
