Status of AMS-02 experiment on the International Space Station

Abstract

The AMS-02 experiment has been installed on the International Space Station on May 19, 2011. The main goals of the experiment are the search for antimatter and dark matter and an high-precision measurement of the spectra of the cosmic rays in the GeV to TeV energy range. This article describes the different components of the detector and presents the performances obtained at the last test beams
