This study presents research conducted by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) to collect, analyse and map data relating to previous district heating (DH) feasibility studies in Scotland. DH feasibility study data, obtained primarily from industry stakeholders, was collated, sorted and analysed in order to identify common barriers restricting DH development, and to map study locations.
