Gender violence is always present in wars. Women’s bodies have been used, raped and beaten in view of physically and morally destroying the enemy, as Rita Segato states. Over the Peruvian armed conflict, between 1980 and 2000, a large number of women were victims of aggression and intimidation. Most of these cases were not officially denounced, but have been retaken by various artistic expressions. An instance is the novel Bioy, written by Diego Trelles Paz in 2012. This article analyzes the fictional representation this contemporary novel makes of the violence exercised on female bodies in the context of the Peruvian anti-subversive fight.En las guerras, la violencia de género siempre ha estado presente. Los cuerpos de las mujeres han sido usados, violados y golpeados con el fin de destruir moral y físicamente al enemigo, como afirma Rita Segato. Durante el conflicto armado peruano, desarrollado entre 1980 y 2000, un gran número de mujeres fueron víctimas de agresiones e intimidaciones. La mayoría de estos casos no fueron denunciados oficialmente, pero han sido retomados por diversas expresiones artísticas. Un ejemplo es la novela Bioy, escrita por Diego Trelles Paz en 2012.
