Quality of Life of Patients with Crohn's Disease and the Intervention of a Non-Medical Medical Worker

Abstract

Úvod: Crohnova choroba je chronické zánětlivé onemocnění gastrointestinálního traktu. Projevy tohoto onemocnění se liší dle lokalizace. Podle symptomatologie se volí taková léčba a ošetřovatelská péče, která se snaží zvýšit kvalitu života všemi dostupnými prostředky. Cíl: Předkládaný příspěvek se snaží zmapovat problematiku Crohnovy choroby a zaměřit se na vhodné ošetřovatelské intervence pro zlepšení kvality života pacientů. Metodika: Jedná se o přehledový článek. Informace byly získávány kvalitativní obsahovou analýzou z českých a zahraničních odborných publikací, z článků odborných periodik. Pro vyhledávání byla použita klíčová slova: Crohnova choroba, kvalita života, ošetřovatelské péče. Závěr: Z analýzy dostupných zdrojů vyplývá důležitost hodnocení kvality života u pacientů s Crohnovou chorobou, získané informace jsou nám dále nápomocny pro komplexní péči o tyto pacienty.Introduction: Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory disease of the gastrointestinal tract. The manifestations of this disease vary according to the localization. According to the symptomatology, such treatment and nursing care is sought which seeks to increase the quality of life by all available means. Aim: The present paper attempts to map out the issue of Crohn's disease and to focus on appropriate nursing interventions for improvement of the quality of the life of patients. Method: This is an overview article. The information was obtained by qualitative content analysis from Czech and foreign professional publications, from articles of professional periodicals. The keywords used for the search: Crohn's disease, quality of life, nursing care. Conclusion: The analysis of available resources shows the importance of assessing the quality of life of patients with Crohn's disease, the information we receive is further helpful for comprehensive care of these patients
