Some of the texts may even be moredifficult than those you can expect to come across inyour exam, but if you can answer the questions in thesetests you will be well equipped to face the real exam.Tohelp you, we have put together some tips on how todeal with the tests.GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTSMake sure you are familiar with the format of yourexams.• How long is the exam?• How many texts are you expected to read?• What text types have come up in past papers?• What question types are normally asked in a readingexam? • Where do you write your answers?• How many details are you required to provide?• Do you have to answer in English or Italian?• Are you allowed to use a dictionary?Exam formats change slightly from one exam board toanother. If you are in any doubt, check the specificdetails with your teacher.READING TIPSYou will find it helpful to ask yourself the followingquestions as you work your way through the differentstages of each practice test:BEFORE READING THE TEXT• What type of text is it?• Where is it taken from?• Who is the text aimed at?• What is the topic dealt with in this test?WHEN READING THE TEXT• What is the main tense in the text?• How many other tenses do you recognise in the text?• Are the sentences long or short?• Can you find any conjunctions in the sentences?• Is the tone of the text formal or informal?• Are there any passages in direct or indirect speech? Il 7% denuncia la totale assenzadi un supporto virtuale per il proprio ateneo.Oltre ai disservizi, un altro problema per glistudenti è l'indisponibilità di molti professoriad accettare il cambiamento tecnologico equindi sfruttare le e-mail per comunicare congli studenti. Sono moltissimi gli universitariche lamentano di non ricevere mai rispostaalle e-mail inviate ai docenti, che spessosono anche fisicamente irreperibili.
