Title:	Introducing Innovative Approaches in Business Schools: Experience Economy, Innovation and  Trust Building through Action  Type:	WorkshopStatus:	track 1:	EBStrack 2:	NoneAbstract:	Business Schools and other providers of management education are expected to develop the right competences and prepare participants for the challenges of the ever changing business environment.The competition and the expectations are growing and different business education providers respond differently to the challenge. There are good examples for practice based initiatives and innovative, interactive programmes. One can also find examples of uncertainty, rigidity and fear. The three facilitators of the workshop represent three different institutions and bring their own practical, international experience to the workshop. They intend to share their views on how to take a fresh look on existing programmes and how to introduce incremental or radical changes into the business curricula. They do not pretend to have all the answers. What they offer is their personal and institutional experience of what worked and what did not in their cases.  The workshop starts with an outline of the rationale for new approaches. We shall discuss questions such as the ‘Experience Economy’, ‘how to teach innovation’ and ‘the role of trust building in business education’.  The speakers share their practical tips and will discuss the challenges that these approaches might present both for faculty members and students.Although the three cases are different they are all action-based frameworks. As a result they can only be successful where all stakeholders share the responsibility for the achievements of the learning outcomes. Learning Outcome	Participants will get an opportunity to review their current processes and get new ideas that could be introduced into the academic business strategy.
