ABSTRAKSI: Proses perankingan dalam search engine sering kali dilupakan, dimana biasanya para pembuat program lebih terfokus untuk menemukan cara agar hasil pencarian sesuai dengan inputan kata kunci yang diminta. Dimana kadang hasil pencarian yang benar – benar diinginkan oleh pengguna terdapat pada urutan yang paling belakang dikarenakan tampilan hasil pencarian hanya di urutkan berdasarkan data terbaru. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut akan dibahas sebuah proses perankingan di dalam search engine dengan menggunakan metoda pagerank. Pagerank merupakan algoritma link analisis yang memberikan bobot terhadap masing masing link didalam suatu dokumen seperti halaman web, dengan tujuan untuk mengukur tingkat kepentingan dokumen lainnya. Pagerank mengunakan tautan antar dokumen untuk melakukan perhitungan didalam proses perankingan dokumen web. Dimana tingkat kepentingan sebuah halaman web akan sangat ditentukan dan dipengaruhi oleh halaman web lainya. Tugas akhir ini menganalisis dan mengimplementasikan proses perankingan halaman web dengan menggunakan metoda pagerank. Disini akan dilihatkan bagaimana proses perhitungan pagerank, proses terjadi secara rekursif dimana sebuah rangking akan ditentukan oleh rangking dari halaman web yang yang memiliki link ke halaman tersebut, serta beberapa pengujian yang dilakukan terhadap beberapa data dan kondisi.Kata Kunci : pagerank, search engine, linkABSTRACT: The process of ranking in search engine was often forgotten, where usually the developer of the program are more focussed to find the right method so that results of the search more accurate and more similar with the user keyword. Where sometimes results of the search – was wanted by the user was gotten in the place that most behind. It was caused by results of the search only put in order based on the newest data. To overcome this problem will be discussed a process of the ranking inside search engine by using the pagerank method. Pagerank was link analysis algorithm that gave the weight against each link in a document like the page web, with the aim of measuring the level of the interests of the other document. Pagerank use linkbetween the document to carry out the calculation in the process of the ranking of the document web. Where the level of the interests of a page web really will be determined and was influenced by the other page. In this project, we analysed and implemented the process of the web page ranking by using pagerank method. Here will be show how the process of the calculation pagerank, the process happened in a re-cursive manner where one rangking will be determined by rangking from the other page that had link to this page, as well as several testings that were done towards several datas and condition.Keyword: pagerank, search engine, lin
