Abstract

This is the concert program of the Boston University Wind Ensemble performance on Saturday, April 8, 1989 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Two Marches for the Sultan Abdul Medjid: Tempo di marcia by Gaetano Donizetti and Allegro vivace by Gioacchino Rossini, Trevelyan Suite by Malcom Arnold, Sinfonia NO. 4 by Walter S. Hartley, Variations on America by Charles Ives, Six Sonatas by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, and Symphonic Songs for Band by Robert Russell Bennett.
