ABSTRACT
Two ways of utilizing papain synthetic in layer rations, supplemented directly and inoculated to soybean oil meal (SBOM-hydrolyzate) before being mixed in the ration, have been studied. Three hundred 24-week old layers were randomly allocated to 15 dietary treatments to measure the effect of ration containing 17. 15. and 14% CI\u27 and two levels of papain (0 075 and 0.15%) either directly supplemented in ration or in form of SBOMhydrolyzate, derived from inoculating SBOM with 0.5 and 1.0% papain before being mixed in the rations.
