1162-1166Kigelia pinnata (Jacq.) is an important medicinal plant belonging to the family bignoniaceae. Leaf sample of the plant have been subjected to phytochemical investigation through gas chromatography – mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Twenty two phytochemical compounds have been identified in the hexane extract of K. pinnata leaves.
