Role of Peptide in Crop Insects Disease Resistance in Plants

61-63In crop plants, developing resistance to pests and diseases has become foremost in Agriculture. It has been noted that some peptides including defensins, melittins, cecropins, sarcotoxins and magainins show a biological activity against pests and diseases of some crop plants.
