Synthesis and characterization of some new tin(IV) derivatives of NO and N₂O₂ chelating Schiff bases

Abstract

1295-1301Tin(IV) complexes of Schiff’s bases e.g. N,N'-hydrazine bis(salicylideneimine), N,N'-o-phenylenebis(salicylideneimine) and benzoin-α-oxime have been synthesized by the reactions of stannic chloride (SnCl4) with the sodium salts of the corresponding ligands in different stoichiometric ratios.
