The purpose of this research is to explain and to describe the perception of adolescents in the city towards the negative effects of promiscuity in Bandar lampung. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The population in this study were 26 adolescents. The technique used for analyzing the data in this research was descriptive qualitative, a research that describes about the phenomenons that happen. Based on the data analysis, it was known that: 1) The perception of adolescents in the city about adolescents’ mindset that affects promiscuity in adolescents life is the ause of promiscuity, 2) The perception of adolescents towards the cultures in the society that is the cause of promiscuity has affected the promiscuity itself, 3) The perception of adolescents about the solution of promiscuity is not by making the conflicts.Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi remaja kota terhadap dampak negatif gaya hidup bebas di Bandar lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja sebanyak 26 orang dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu suatu penelitian yang menggambarkan fenomena yang terjadi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa : 1) Persepsi remaja kota tentang pola pikir remaja yang menyebabkan gaya hidup bebas di kalangan remaja adalah penyebab gaya hidup bebas, 2) Persepsi remaja kota tentang kebudayaan di masyarakat sebagai penyebab gaya hidup bebas pada remaja adalah yang menyebabkan gaya hidup bebas, 3) Persepsi remaja kota tentang solusi (pencegahan) pergaulan bebas adalah bukan menyebabkan konflik.Kata kunci : dampak negatif, gaya hidup bebas, persepsi remaja kota
