The purpose of this article is to discuss a tuberous or Bourneville syndrome sclerosis, to
the increase of knowledge on this syndrome, how is the process of learning, with the
aim of a possible psicopedagogica intervention and therefore a better life for the person
who has the syndrome and his family. It was used as methodology a database review of
the disease, analysis of the importance of social, family and school contexts to occur the
process of learning and improvement of life of people with tuberous sclerosis. From this
study, it was noted the importance of increasing knowledge about the syndrome in order
to treat the person the most appropriate manner, always aiming their improvement and
quality of life.O objetivo do presente artigo é discutir a esclerose tuberosa ou Síndrome de
Bourneville, para que se aumente o conhecimento sobre essa síndrome, como se dá o
seu processo de aprendizagem, com a finalidade de uma possível intervenção
psicopedagógica e consequentemente uma melhoria de vida para a pessoa que tem a
síndrome e sua família. Utilizou-se como metodologia uma revisão de base de dados
sobre a doença, análise da importância dos contextos social, familiar e escolar para que
ocorra o processo de aprendizagem e uma melhoria de vida da pessoa com esclerose
tuberosa. A partir do presente estudo, notou-se a importância de ampliar os
conhecimentos sobre a síndrome, a fim de tratar a pessoa da maneira mais adequada,
sempre visando sua melhora e qualidade de vida
