Unraveling de knot : the experience of self-organization of women collectors of recyclable materials of the State of São Paulo

A partir do olhar para as mulheres,que compõem maioria numérica nas cooperativas visitadas, focaremos para as diferentes demandas e reivindicações da categoria organizada,bem como as alterações produzidas pela iniciativa de organização das mulheres. Através das ideias da interseccionalidade, consubstancialidade e do nó, nos propomos a analisar as interações entre raça, classe e gênero nas experiências relatadas, na intenção de contribuir com a reflexão articulada das categoriasAbstract: This paper aims to analyze a recent experience of self-organization of women collectors of recyclable materials in the state of São Paulo, with the creation of the State Secretariat of Collectors Women (SEMUC-SP) in 2014. From the look at the women, who compose the numerical majority in the cooperatives visited, we will focus on different demands and claims of the organized category, as well as the changes produced by the women's organizing initiative. Through the ideas of intersectionality, consubstantiality and the knot, we propose to analyze the interactions between race, class and gender in the reported experiences, with the intention of contributing to an articulated reflection of the categoriesDoutoradoCiencias SociaisDoutora em Ciências SociaisCAPE
