Časopis je glasilo me-đunarodne asocijacije kineskih stručnja-ka u geoinformacijskim znanostima, a iz-davač časopisa je Francis &Taylor. Do 2009. izlazila su dva sveska godišnje, a potom četiri sveska. Uredništvo pozi-va autore da u časopisu objavljuju svo-je izvorne ideje o teoriji, metodama, ra-zvoju i primjenama u području geoinfor-macijske znanosti. Očekuju se članci iz ovih područja: daljinska istraživanja i prikupljanje podataka geoinformacijski sustavi geovizualizacija i virtualni geografski okoliši prostorne analize i modeliranje modeliranje nesigurnosti.Annals of GISAnnals of GISThe journal has been published since 1995 and until 2008 it had been published under the title Geographic Information Sciences. The edito-rial board has been inviting authors to publish their original ideas on theory, methods, development and applications in the field of geoinformation science.
