Pengaruh gaya hidup dan literasi keuangan terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa

Abstract

Purposes - This study was conducted to determine the influence of lifestyle and financial literacy that can influence the consumer behavior of students majoring in Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara. This study uses quantitative research, and the population in this study is all students majoring in Management who are active in odd semester from the first semester to the seventh semester. Methods - The sampling method in this research is probability sampling and the sampling technique (sampling) in this study uses Proportionate stratified random sampling namely Semester 1,3,5 and 7. This is because, the UMSU management students are odd semester students who are active in college until year 2017 then the number of samples taken proportionally. The sample in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business North University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara majoring in Management, amounting to 100 students, Findings - The results of this study indicate that partially and simultaneously lifestyle and financial literacy significantly influence the behavior of consumer consumptive in Management Department Faculty of Economics and Business University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara with determination coefficient of 49.20 percent.
