El presente trabajo se enmarca en el proyecto de investigación denominado “Las variedades del autismo: Sistematización y Evaluación de la Demanda Asistencial. Segunda Etapa”. Tras haberse considerado en una primera etapa del proyecto la problemática actual del autismo se arribó, entre otras conclusiones, al dato de la extensión desmesurada de la categoría de autismo en la psicopatología infantil, con las consecuencias clínicas que de ese abuso se desprenden, así como de la imprecisión de su delimitación y la no localización de su especificidad.
La consideración del autismo como un déficit -concepción que sustentan algunas disciplinas en la actualidad- va en contra del abordaje psicoanalítico, que, desde la perspectiva lacaniana,se esfuerza por captar una dimensión particular del sujeto autista,esfuerzo que se basa en la hipótesis de que el autismo no constituye un tipo de enfermedad, sino un modo defuncionamiento subjetivo singular.Numerous conflicts and polemics have centred on the particular use that the autistic subjects do of the objects that accompany them. In this paper, it has been important for us to investigate the value and the function that the object acquires, considering the actual debates and the testimonies of autistic subjects. We begin from the Tustin´s consideration of the autistic object as transitional and we analyze the consequences of this affirmation. That conception of the object is in tension with the Freudian theory of the fort-da and the singularity of the construction of the object that we infer from the analysis of the selected testimonies. The discussion, likewise, prospers with contemporary conceptualizations, such as "edge" and " forclusion of the hole".Trabajos libres: PsicoanálisisFacultad de Psicologí
