Abstract

Rivers have an ability to purify waste which called by self purification. The waste either from upper or middle of river will be purified when it reaches downstream. Celeng River is a river that passes through residential areas so the quality of stream is affected by the waste generated from the settlement activities. The purposes of this research are to determine distribution of existing pollution potential points along the river and the effect for river�s water quality.
