EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PENEMUAN TERBIMBING DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA

Abstract

This quasi-experimental research aimed to determine the effectiveness of guided discovery models in terms of the comprehension ability of students mathematical concepts. The research design was one shot case study design. The population was all students of grade X of State Senior High School 5 Metro in academic year of 2014/2015 that was distributed into seven classes, while the sample of research was students of X.7 class that was selected by purposive random sampling technique. The data of this research was obtained by test. Based on the result of research , it can be concluded that the implementation of guided discovery model was not effective in terms of the comprehension ability of students mathematical concepts.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model penemuan terbimbing ditinjau dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian adalah one shot case study design. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Metro tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdistribusi dalam tujuh kelas, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X 7 yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive random sampling. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes.
