Motivation system in selected company

Abstract

The bachelor thesis focuses on the motivation of the staff in the selected company. The main aim of the thesis was to analyze the motivation system in the company, identify limitations of this system, and to propose possible recommendations for making the whole motivational process more effective. The theoretical part of the thesis explains basic terms such as motivation, motive, stimulus, stimulation. The following part focuses mainly on the importance of motivational theories. The practical part of the thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is about the analyzed company, it describes the content of the work and shows the organizational structure of the company. The next section includes an interview with the company manager on how the management is trying to implement motivation programs and what tools they are using. In the third part the reader will find results of the questionnaire, with graphical explanations and possible causes of this results. The practical part ends with the detailed summary of the whole part and suggestions for making the motivation system of the company more effective.Bakalářská práce věnuje pozornost problematice motivace personálu ve vybrané společnosti. Hlavním cílem práce byla analýza motivačního systému, zjištění nedostatků a navrhování možných doporučení pro zefektivnění celého procesu. Teoretická část vysvětluje základní motivační pojmy jako motivace, motiv, stimul, stimulace. Následující část je zaměřena především na závažnost motivačních teorií. Praktická část bakalářské práce je rozdělená do tří částí. První kapitola charakterizuje společnost, popisuje náplň práce a ukazuje organizační strukturu společnosti. Další část obsahuje rozhovor s manažerem společnosti o tom, jak se vedení podniku snaží implementovat motivační program a jaké nástroje při tom používají. Třetí část obsahuje závěry dotazníkového šetření, kde jsou graficky ukázány a slovně vysvětleny výsledky a možné příčiny, které to způsobily. Na konci praktické část je podrobné shrnutí praktické části a navržení doporučení pro zefektivnění motivačního systému podniku
