Uap AIR SEBAGAI Komponen Utama GRK dan Keterkaitannya dengan Variasi Spasiotemporal Temperatur Permukaan Indonesia

Abstract

Water vapor as the main component of greenhouse gases, it has unique properties, which can either absorb solar radiation and radiation from the earth, so it affects the air temperature (especially in the troposphere). This is because water vapor is very influential in adiabatic cooling and warming in the troposphere. The purpose of this study was to determine the behavior of the moisture content and relative humidity at the 850 hPa height and its association with the spatial and temporal variation of surface air temperature in parts of Indonesia. The main data used in this study are the moisture content and relative humidity at the 850 hPa height and surface air temperture from the AIRS Level3V5 sensor of EOS Aqua satellite for the January 2008 - December 2010 period. The results showed that the moisture content at the 850 hPa height in the upper ocean region has a IMC (Indonesian Maritime Continent) greater than the value on the mainland / island. Period of January 2010 have a value of moisture content of most large (37,4 - 62,5 kg/ m2), followed by a period in January 2009 (38,1 - 57,9 kg/ m2), and the smallest was in the period of January 2008 (42,3 - 56,8 kg/ m2). Moisture content at the 850 hPa height does not correlate linearly with the surface temperature.Hlm. 104-11
