Analisis Persepsi Literasi Informasi Siswa pada Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) Mata Pelajaran Geografi di MAN 1 Karanganyar

Abstract

The development of Science, Technology and Arts is growing rapidly in aspects of human life, including in the field of education. The current era of digitalization encourages students to always improve their information literacy skills. Information literacy skills will help students find out which information is reliable and not. Therefore, the objectives of this study are (1) to analyze students' perceptions of information literacy in seeking, interpreting, and creating new ideas during the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic and (2) evaluating the differences between the three student information literacy competencies during the learning process in during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research in this research is quantitative research with a comparative research design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS at MAN 1 Karanganyar. The number of samples in this study were 67 respondents and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire in the form of student information literacy questions conducted online using Google Forms and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study was to test the hypothesis, namely the Kruskal-Wallis One Way Anova test. The results in this study were 1) Perceptions of information literacy (search) students obtained an average value of 75.95% which was included in the good category, students' information literacy (interpretation) was in the good category, namely 73.36%, and informaton literacy (creation of new ideas) students entered good category, namely 71.80%, and 2) The Kruskal-Wallis One Way Anova test results obtained an Asymp.Sig value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the three research variables, namely searching, interpreting, and creating. students' new ideas during the distance learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the results of the three indicators in this study, it still needs to be improved in the learning process so that students can be more independent and think critically in completing their assignments
