This paper analyzes the external environment which restricts the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It proposed that changes in education policy be made, social responsibility of culture media be strengthened, the understanding of scientific standards be enhanced to improve the external environment for the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine.分析了目前制约中医发展的主要外部环境，提出应从教育方针的转变、文化传媒社会责任感的加强以及对科学标准认识的提升等几个方面来改善中医发展的外部环境
