The paper analyzes the relationship between phlegm stagnation and coronary heart disease (CHD) from the perspectives of the origin of phlegm stagnation theory, phlegm stagnation pathogenesis of CHD, and its clinical application in treatment of CHD. It proposes that CHD be cured from phlegm stagnation theory since deficiency of vital energy results in phlegm stagnation. It could also deepen our understanding of CHD and improve overall level of Traditional Chinese Medicine prevention and treatment of CHD.本文从痰瘀学说的提出、冠心病的痰瘀病机、证候及其在冠心病治疗中的应用等方面，论述了痰瘀学说的渊源、冠心病的痰瘀病机及其证型，提出了冠心病“脏气虚于内、痰瘀痹于中”的病机学说及从痰瘀论治的辨证思路，认为将痰瘀学说这一理论用于冠心病的防治，有利于我们对冠心病的认识从理论上进一步深化，并指导临床遣方用药，提高冠心病的中医整体防治水平
