婴幼儿急性呼吸道感染最常见的症状是咳嗽、咳痰，儿科祛痰、止咳是保持呼吸道通畅，治疗急性呼吸道感染的重要措施。海葱不但具有祛痰止咳药理作用，而且还具有免疫增强、抗炎和抗自由基作用。目前国内含有海葱的祛痰止咳药极少，临床医师不熟悉海葱的化学成分、药理作用和研究进展。作者查阅国内外相关文献，综述祛痰药海葱的研究进展。Cough and expectoration are the most common symptoms of acute respiratory infection in infants. Expectorant and anti-cough for maintaining unobstructed airway are important treatment of acute respiratory infection in pediatrics. Squill not only has pharmacological effects on expectorant and anti-cough, but also on immune-enhancing, anti-inflammatory and anti-free radical action. Currently the medicine for expectorant and anti-cough rarely contains squill, and the clinicians are not familiar with squill in chemical constituents, pharmacological effects and its study progress.
