The batik industry in Pekalongan has become a major pillar of the economy. The average
batik industry people in Pekalongan are house or small industries and Medium Enterprises
(SMEs). The increasing activity of the batik industry in Pekalongan City makes the
environmental quality continue to deteriorate and requires special attention. From the
result of the inventory of CV. Pola Prisma and BAPPEDA Pekalongan City, Pasirsari
Village (now referred to as Pasirkratonkramat Village) is the largest batik industrial area
in Pekalongan and the largest batik waste producer. However, the making of communal
or individual WWTPs (Wastewater treatment plants) hasn't been found in batik waste
processing, so the surrounding environment is polluted. Pasirkratonkramat Village,
including Pasirsari Village, has the highest Poverty UDB. The batik industry is one of the
sectors with the highest percentage, which is dominated by Pasirsari Village. Therefore,
the existence of a tourist village in Pasirsari Village will affect the increase in the
community's economy. The purpose of developing Pasirsari Pekalongan Batik Village as
a Green Batik Tourism Village is to be able to accommodate marketing, training, and
village search activities so that it can increase economic, social and cultural values and as
a design development of natural batik medicine gardens and communal WWTPs to
support Green Batik Tourism Village. Data collection methods used are observation,
interviews, and literature study. The design of village development refers to the theory
proposed by Cooper et al. (2000) and The Urban Design Process, a book by Hamid Shirvani (1985). The design of village development through the Green Batik approach,
namely the Communal Batik WWTPs and Natural Medicine Batik Park and the
