Surakarta Creative Community HUB Dengan Pendekatan Psikologi Arsitektur

Abstract

The role of the creative economy or the creative industry is a concept in the new economic era that focuses on information and creativity by relying on ideas and knowledge from the main production factor, namely human resources. Surakarta as a Creative City (KaTaKreasi) in 2019 has the potential to develop and help increase the economy in the creative economy. There are various performing arts performances held in the city of Surakarta, starting from urban village scale events to international art performances. Children and adolescents are part of society who play an important role in economic development in the creative economy in the future. There are many creative communities filled with young people. Therefore, creating a forum for creativity and exchange of ideas for the creative community in Surakarta is one way to improve the creative economy of Surakarta. Designing a creative building called the Surakarta Creative Community Hub that can influence user emotions. The Architectural Psychology Approach is the right approach in designing the Surakarta Creative Community Hub. Architectural psychology principles such as color, shape, sound, smell / aroma, material, and space are applied from the micro scale such as interior elements of space and space to macro such as landscape processing as a whole. The application of these aspects is expected to create a place that provides comfort for free activities and creativity
