The effect of scrubbing liquid composition on acquired droplet charge state was studied. The experimental system included a pressure tank, a nozzle, a collection vessel and a current meter. The liquid was placed in the electrically isolated pressure tank from where it was conducted to the nozzle. The current that arose during spraying was measured with current meter. The results show that the natural charge of the drops of aqueous liquids can be significant.</p
