柱状颗粒在矩形微通道内的惯性迁移行为研究

Abstract
非球形颗粒普遍存在生物与工程领域,包括盘状红细胞、柱状大肠杆菌、椭球状眼虫藻等。已有研究大多关注球形颗粒的惯性迁移行为,虽然现有的微流控器件可以操控一些非球形颗粒,但是相关方面的机理性研究却较为缺乏。我们利用三维直接数值模拟研究了柱状颗粒和盘状颗粒(短柱状)在矩形微通道内的惯性迁移特性,探讨了柱状颗粒的转动行为以及在不同情况下平衡位置的变化,并与球形颗粒进行了对比。该工作发现颗粒近壁端所受应力主导其转动行为;通过与球形颗粒进行对比,发现用于表征平衡位置的等效直径随雷诺数增大而增大
