Paper is an important part for human life. Paper has function as recording media and dissemination of data and information, packaging utility, laboratory experiment, yarn spinner/textile and tissue. This research is done
to find out the pull and rip endurance of recycled paper from the raw material of rice husk with the concentration variations of NaOH 10%, 15%, and 20%. The raw materials which are used in this research are HVS 70 gram former paper, rice husk, NaOH, and tapioca flour adhesive. The result which is got from this research is 10% NaOH concentration has pull endurance average 0,3733 MPa, 15% 0,2302 MPa, dan 20% 0,0559 MPa. While the rip endurance of 10% NaOH concentration has rip endurance average 0,5192 MPa, 15% 0,2868 MPa, dan 20% 0,2555 MPa. From the result of the study, it can be concluded that the less concentration of
NaOH,then the stronger pull and rip endurance of paper. And vice versa, the higher NaOH concentration, then the weaker pull and rip endurance of paper
