Perkembangan Sosial Emosi Anak Usia Dini Pada Keluarga Single Parent

Abstract

Social development of children is a process in the life of a child to behave according to the norms or rules within the child's life, while the emotional social development including the development in terms of emotion, personality and interpersonal relationships. Single Parent is the parent who raise their children alone without the presence of support and responsibility partner. Criteria informants in this study were young children aged 3-6 years who come from single parent families in Ananda Bowan Early Childhood. This study used a qualitative approach to data collection techniques interviews and observation. Social emotional development of children victims of a single parent who is a child aged 3-4 years fixed discount sense of security, protection, not inferior, capable to expression about angry and happy, children also love to share. divorce resulted in unmet needs of children, mainly concern and affection should be obtained from both parents, but children keep to have a sense of security, protection, do not feel inferior, like empathy, sharing with others and children prefer to be looking for attention with other people. Children from single parent families experience emotional social development in accordance with his age. The neighborhood around the home and school care and give good attention to the child of a single parent family can help the social development of a child's emotional developing appropriate developmental level
