Vehicle Anti-lock Braking System Performance using dSPACE

Abstract

As a typical active safety component for automotives, the main goal of the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is to prevent wheel lockup and to maintain steerability and stability. This paper focuses on using a model-based approach for developing a mathematical model of ABS. Three different Simulink models are set up for simulation.
