Abstract

This thesis is intended to clarify General English (GE), Special English (SE or English for Specific Purposes; ESP) and International Business Communication (IBC) which the writer has studied from the viewpoints of sociolinguistics and registers. Also, the disciplines of semantics and lexicology have been employed. It is the writer\u27s contention that the findings the writer made in the fields of General English, Special English and International Business Communication as detailed in the thesis will surely help develop the relevant sciences and contribute to society as a whole
