Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi biaya
efektif terhadap tiga teknologi regasifikasi LNG yaitu open rack
vaporizer (ORV), direct natural draft ambient air vaporizer
(DND-AAV) dan direct forced draft ambient air vaporizer(DFDAAV).
Ketiga proses ini dijalankan dengan kapasitas sama 100
MMSCFD dengan tiap proses dibagi dalam dua train yang
masing-masing berkapasitas50 MMSCFD. Total capital
investment(TCI) pada masing-masing sistem sebesar
38.444.476,40.143.846, 48.387.914untukORV,DND−AAV,DFD−AAV.Berdasarkancapex,opexdanbiayaregasifikasiLNGdidapatkaninternalrateofreturn(IRR)masing−masingsebesar27,9danDFD−AAV.StudiketigateknologiregasifikasiLNGinimemilikiperbedaancosteffectiveyangtidaksignifikanditinjaudariperbedaannilaiIRR.Openrackvaporizerdipilihdikarenakankemudahandalampengoperasiandantidakbergantungpadakondisilingkungan,sebagaitambahansuhuairlautdiIndonesialebihstabildibandingkansuhuudara.==========TheobjectiveofthisstudyistoevaluatecosteffectiveofthethreeLNGregasificationtechnologies.Thatareopenrackvaporizer(ORV),directnaturaldraftambientairvaporizer(DND−AAV)anddirectforceddraftambientairvaporizer(DFDAAV).Thesethreeprocessesareoperatedwiththesamecapacityof100MMSCFDwitheachprocessisdividedintotwotrainswithcapacityof50MMSCFDeach.Eachtotalcapitalinvestmentoneachsystemis38.444.476, 40.143.846,48.387.914 for
ORV, DND-AAV and DFD-AAV respectively. Based on capex,
opex, and the cost of LNG regasification, the internal rate of
return (IRR) were found to be 27,9%, 26,7% and 27,6% for ORV,
DND-AAV and DFD-AAV respectively, the three LNG
regasification studied has not significent different cost effective in
term of IRR. Open rack vaporizer system was chosen as
regasification technology because of ease of operation and
independent on environmental conditions, in addition of sea water
temperature in Indonesia is more stable than the air temperature
