Análisis bibliométrico del método Vaganova en la enseñanza de las danzas deportivas

Abstract

This article (Bibliometric analysis of the Vaganova method applied to the teaching of sport dance) is a bibliometric analysis applied to the teaching of the Vagánova method in sport dance at both levels professional as amateur. These elements were analized: 1. Vagánova method in teaching dance; 2. Vagánova teaching sport dance; 3 Vagánova teaching amateur dance sport; 4. Vagánova method dance sport professional; and 5. Bibliometric method combining the other 4 elements. It was analysed the importance of Vagánova method as a tool of teaching in the education of the dancer – sport practitioner of sport dance both professional and amateur in order to analize as well its impact as a pedagogical – choreographical strategy. The analysis comprised 67 scientific articles about the main themes that included at least one citation, written in English, Spanish, and Russian (61.2 % English, 22.4 % Spanish, and 16.4 % Russian), and published in a 10 years time span between 2005 to 2015 through the Google Scholar Science Citation Index. It was concluded that more tan 70% of the sport dance instructors included in such cited articles do recognize the Vagánova method as an important tool for teaching sport dance, but none the les few of them employ it as part of their practice
