The objective of the present research paper is to highlight
Agricultural college library budgets under the jurisdiction of Mahatma Phule
Agricultural University, Rahuri. It includes expenditure of library budgets
under varies heads. The present study has various aspects. One of them is the
assessment of the present budgetary status of Agricultural college libraries and
to find out need of change, to suggest practical solutions to the prevailing
problems of the college libraries with the help of the questionnaire method, the
questionnaire was sent to all 49 Agricultural College Libraries along with self
addressed duly stamped envelope with return postage by the researcher. The
respondents were asked to return the questionnaire within 3 Months. Out of 49
only 40 (81.63%) questionnaires were received within a stipulated period
