In this work we present a new method of calculating the losses of a three- 
mirrors multipass waveguide laser resonator offered earlier in work [1].
For solving this problem have considered a configuration of the waveguide 
laser resonator including two flat mirrors, located close as possible to the end 
of the waveguide in length L and section 2a x 2b and used generalized mul- 
timode model rectangular waveguide resonator with the flat mirrors investi­
gated in [2].
For definition of optical losses we seek a complex matrix M [3], which 
presents the effect of propagating one round trip through the cavity. We then 
find the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of M,

The round trip loss Li for the i-th resonator mode is then given by

The effects of moving output mirror away from the guide on the optical 
losses are discussed. And it is also studied depending of the losses on radius 
curvature of output mirror.
