Abstract

The author is interested in the subject of politics and history in textbooks for learning German as a foreign language. The presentation includes the results of an analysis aimed at checking among others the degree of universality of the above topics, grammatical tendencies, frequency of particular language skills and the way they are applied in German language textbooks available in Poland and dedicated to groups at different level
