The paper contains characteristic of flora and plant communities of
„Potboru” reserve. The study were carried out in the 1979-1981 and again in the
1990-1991 years. There have been listed 315 plant species and following forest
communities: Tilio-Carpinetum typicum, T.-C. corydaletosum, Potentillo albae-Quercetum.
After ten years the indications of transformation of light oak forest into oak-hornbeam
forest were ascertained. The reduction of heliophilous species area and decrease of
